Little Reddings Primary School has recently undergone a rebuild on its existing site delivered through the national DfE School Rebuilding Programme. The new school benefits from strong environmental credentials, using timber for the main structure and operating at net zero in operation.
With the Vanity Underframes already procured, Building Services (Beds) Ltd required a bespoke solid surface wash trough profile. To meet the design specification, we leveraged our in-house fabrication capabilities adapting our existing Solid Surface WT3 Slim Flat Bottomed Thermoformed Wash Trough. This involved adding a 50mm extended tap deck and reducing the down stand by 50mm, our classic Everest White colourway complemented the vanity underframes perfectly.
Our WT3 Slim profile was the perfect choice for the school as it complies with the School Output Specification for Sanitaryware published by the Department for Education. Our unique, thermoformed wash trough design has provided a seamless, smooth, curved finish with minimal hard edging that could collect dirt, improving hygiene. This, coupled with the non-porous nature of solid surface, has delivered a low maintenance and easy to clean wash trough.
