Superloos are a self-contained toilet cubicle that provide a more private and hygienic alternative to a shared washroom. Designed to cater for a single person, Superloos usually contain a toilet, a vanity unit with an individual hand wash basin, hand drying facilities, a bin and a mirror.
Often Superloos can be found in high-end commercial office buildings, airports, entertainment venues and now more recently within the leisure and hospitality sectors in a bid to create a more inclusive environment. Truly taking the washroom world by storm, Superloos have several advantages that make them a favourable option for both new washrooms and refurbishments - let’s take a look at some of the benefits of Superloo’s here.
Superloos are a great washroom solution if there is minimal space to accommodate separate male and female washrooms. Space can be a luxury, so finding ways to optimise the existing environment can be vital in certain instances.
Mirroring a conventional washroom but on a much smaller scale, a Superloo allows for seamless integration of vital washroom accessories, which have been specifically designed around a compact space.
As the demand for unisex WCs increases, Superloos acknowledge the issues associated with male and female toilets in the 21st century. With all the features of a typical washroom, a Superloo can accommodate anyone, with the purpose of only one person using the facility at a time.
The Superloo concept can help relieve anxieties that people may have with sharing a communal washroom, which could frequently become congested with additional users. With a Superloo, the complete toilet experience can be a private one, ensuring each individual feels safe and secure in a private and inclusive environment.
In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, the emphasis of cleaner washrooms has never been greater. Superloos offer a contained environment that prevents close, personal contact in comparison to a traditional washroom that could have multiple users at any one time, increasing the potential threat of spreading germs and bacteria. As more people have become hyperaware of how fast germs can spread, Superloos present an opportunity to suppress any uneasiness over public washrooms that people may have.
Many Superloos incorporate sensor technology to help reduce the touch points and keep physical contact to a minimum. Sensor flushes, taps and hand drying facilities can all be used to remove the need to touch surfaces where germs and bacteria can populate.
At the Washroom Vanity Company we aim to combine style with practicality, so we’ve created a Solid Surface Superloo Vanity Unit that exudes luxury while remaining compact and functional.
Our standard Solid Surface Superloo Vanity Unit can be customised to adhere to the required cubicle length, features an individual sloping basin and is finished with a deep front apron. The contemporary sloping trough has a 5mm gap along the rear which allows the water to subtly drain away. The elegant slope adds a stylish edge to the cubicle and creates a modern feel to compliment environments like high-end commercial buildings, sporting stadiums, airports or bars and restaurants.
Our Solid Surface Superloo Vanity Unit can also be customised to feature a high 450mm loose splashback, or alternatively designed to incorporate a bin-chute to maximise space within the cubicle even further. Using Solid Surface means that these features can be integrated into the existing top seamlessly with no visible or open joins, while simultaneously enhancing the hygiene rating using a smooth, non-porous material.
Like all of our solid surface products, our Solid Surface Superloo Vanity Units are available in our 12 standard and 10 premium colours, ranging from bright and bold finishes to the classic marble and terrazzo themes.
If you opt for a vanity underframe to support your Solid Surface Superloo Vanity Unit the IPS panels can be manufactured to match the Superloo colour, tying the theme together throughout the cubicle. Or for a more minimalist finish, you can choose cantilever brackets for support to give the illusion that the vanity is floating.
In conclusion, with the many benefits and endless design possibilities it’s easy to see why there is a growing demand for Superloos across many different industries. So, could a Superloo be the answer to your next washroom project? Why not view our Solid Surface Superloo Vanity Unit here and browse our extensive colour range.
