DfE Education Wash Troughs
Our DfE education wash troughs have been expertly crafted to align with the School Output Specification for Sanitaryware published by the DfE. Manufactured from a non-porous solid surface, they offer exceptional resistance to bacteria, viruses, and mold while ensuring effortless cleaning and maintenance.
Through advanced thermoforming techniques, we achieve a seamless, smooth and elegantly curved finish with minimal hard edges, reducing dirt accumulation points and optimising hygiene in accordance with DfE guidelines.
Our DfE school wash troughs are designed without any visible fixings, making them tamper-proof and vandal-resistant. The removable front access panel, made from robust solid grade laminate, is completely impervious to water, making it ideally suited to withstand the rigorous demands of high-traffic school washrooms.

Features
Hygienic & Easy to Maintain: The non-porous solid surface material is resistant to bacteria, viruses and mold and is easy to clean and maintain. Our wash troughs are thermoformed for a smooth, curved finish with minimal hard edges - reducing dirt accumulation and enhancing hygiene.
Tamper-Proof & Vandal-Resistant: As per DfE guidelines there are no visible fixings and the removable front access panel is manufactured from water resistant, durable Solid Grade Laminate.
Flexible & Customisable: We have four standard profiles that are adaptable to individual specifications, with flexible installation height to meet DfE guidelines.
Colours: Our wash troughs are available in 22 colours from Corian and HIMACS and there are 34 laminate colour options for the removable SGL panels, allowing you to co-ordinate with your cubicles and other areas of the school washroom.
Built to Last: Solid surface is extremely hard wearing and durable and can be even be repaired. We fabricate our wash troughs in-house to ensure compliance and quality control, we are so confident in the quality of our solid surface products, we offer a 5 year guarantee.

This features standard press action taps and toggle options, which are especially suitable for nursery and SEN schools, ensuring ease of use for young children and those with additional needs.
Additionally, we provide sensor-operated taps that not only minimise touch points, enhancing hygiene – but also promote a hands-free experience, ideal for maintaining cleanliness in busy school environments. Our taps can be pre-plumbed to reduce valuable installation time when on site.
